We are currently on the scene of a serious collision near #Clacton.

Point Clear Road in #StOsyth is completely closed and drivers are urged to avoid the area.

We have a dedicated patrol at Frinton beach huts tonight. Such a shame about the recent vandalism that has occurred there.This afternoon 12 huts were destroyed by fire. The cause has not yet been identified. If you saw anything please report it.

Our Beach Patrol was part of the rescue operation in Clacton today & our thoughts are with the family & friends of those involved in the incident.
At this stage we don’t know the full details of what happened and it would not be appropriate to speculate.

So the travellers are now parked on the greensward opposite the Eastcliffe playing field. If they had parked on the road it would be easier to move them on as they would have been breaking the law (no overnight caravans) . Clever!

I had a very interesting phone call today. A recorded message apparently from HMRC saying if I didn’t press 1 a warrant would be issued & I would be arrested shortly. Still waiting!

It’s great to hear of people going on their holidays! It is worrying when you see all the photos of the entire family including extended family at the airport waiting for their flight! Be careful what you post on social media! It’s not a good idea to advertise your home is empty!
