Also the lack of news on Kone is a worry imo.

@OnLondon @spurscabdanny The roads are not fit for purpose, the bridges are even worse, The average 3 mile journey in London takes over half hour by car. I’m sorry I’ve upset you but we don’t all live in an ivory tower or bury our heads in the sand.

@_VN5 @Lincs_Wheelman @Grahamthecabbie 14,500 taxis. 120,000 Private hire, TfL should be investigated. I personally think there’s too many buses. Probably enough taxis in the current climate despite falling by 6,000 in the last decade and a ridiculous amount of PH

@_VN5 @Lincs_Wheelman @Grahamthecabbie The shops down there have all shut nothing to do with cutting through, there’s too many buses in London aswell which is causing mayhem. Most are 1/3 full at best.

If so I can’t comment as I didn’t experience it before, I can however tell you that Tottenham Court Road was thriving before and I believe Oxford street could go a similar way.

any road in London, Oxford street will go the same way as Tottenham Court Road imo. London is a joke of a city now and it’s only getting worse with bridges failing and all the other bonkers restrictions.

@_VN5 @Lincs_Wheelman @Grahamthecabbie I pay around £17,500 a year for my cab (rent) only 13/14 thousand of that is tax deductible as my accountant deducts a percentage for personal use/commuting to and from London.. same applies to fuel/electric. Most taxi drivers park only on rest ranks but a few abuse the system
