@WallStreetApes So they don’t have to complete 40 hours of course work and 8 hours of supervised driving like my 15 year old just did? Not to mention pay 650.00? Come on Maine! DO BETTER!!!
At the end of the day it’s all about inflammation. Excess LDL (particularly when oxidized) causes damage to the lining of the blood vessels (endothelium). This then leads to a cascade of inflammation events. In the acute setting it causes plaque rupture . Chronic inflammation over time leads to narrowing of the arteries. Minimize inflammation by keeping BP low, managing stress, exercising, etc. Statins are part of that process.
What’s the source for this data? Driving LDL towards physiological levels ( <60 reduces ) reduces CV events. Those with lifelong LDL levels below that number have at least 50% reduction in CV events. Look at the FRONTIER Trial. European Guidelines are more aggressive than in the USA. Lower LDL = longer life.
@bananapacovan@joeroganhq How do you explain the early CV event rates in homozygous familial hyperlipidemia patients? Untreated these individuals have a life expectancy of less than 35.
For those who play chess on https://t.co/cLnKWeWbVb how often are you getting notifications that someone "violated the Fair Play Policy?" I hope Karma returns you something "fair" in return for cheating.
@WallStreetApes For those found guilty of fraud, their prison term should be as long as it takes to pay back what they stole. I’m ok with the going prisoner’s hourly rate of 0.10 per hour.
Season 4 of the Bear is an intense roller coaster of doubt, humility, and honesty. The self reflection of the characters is so refreshing. The acting is…WOW!!! But spend 500 bucks on a medical consultant. The “heart attack” episode was total garbage. First degree block has nothing to do with blockage of an artery. Nonetheless 97/100. This is what entertainment should be.
