@KindnessLDNONT@sturbs2 Youโre the best & you highly influenced how I lead my classroom, for the better๐ฅฐ I will forever be grateful that you were my mentor in my first year, where quite literally all scenarios were thrown at me. I am a better, more successful, and confident teacher because of you. โค๏ธ
We are exploring the properties of matter, and held a viscosity race in our online science class today. Students were not so surprised to see that juice cheated, and raced down to the finish line before the race even started!
Students worked in groups to create maps for โAmong Usโ characters. Not even one complaint about having to find the area and perimeter after this fun activity! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
We had so much fun trying out breakout rooms today. Dogs barking... four of my recordings playing at the same time... one student yelling โoh no I deleted all the slidesโ, and lots of excited, collaborative voices that weโve missed!
This week we noticed we need some more practice using protractors. Students in grade 5 enjoyed getting the chance to draw on their desks with whiteboard markers (donโt worry we washed it off and passed a clean desk inspection before recess)!
Me (thinking I did a great job explaining our next task): Perfect, any other questions before we get started?
Student: what is your cat looking at our the window?
