For the House-approved 2027 budget: ₱50.7B cut from DepEd, ₱3.1B less for classrooms, ₱55B less in PhilHealth support, plus cuts to immunization and health promotion.
Education shapes future voters, and healthcare keeps people from constantly being in survival mode. Cutting both weakens the very public that’s supposed to hold government accountable.
This is not a complete solution to the problem. Instead of addressing the root cause and providing sustainable access to safe drinking water, we're being shown DIY filtration methods. I see it more as a temporary workaround than a real solution.
Filtration doesn't automatically mean the water is safe to drink. The public deserves proper guidance, accessible clean water, and long-term solutions not just ways to cope with a crisis.
NO TO PAX SILICA
same energy: Duterte’s cabinet secretsry Piñol said eating rice with bukbok (rice weevils) is fine as long as you wash the rice well. This is not a solution, but working with failures of the government of which the powerful ones do not get to experience it daily but only for PR.
You know what’s absurd about this entire "DIY water filtration system" suggestion? The last time they brought up the water situation, they claimed we had more than enough for Pax Silica. And then here comes El Niño, and suddenly there’s no long-term plan or contingency strategy +
Actually, nakakalungkot tong demo na to.
Ok so wait... Bongbong here wants us to conserve and collect rainwater and apparently drink from a timba with a very questionable filter. While he supports pax silica, a project that could place unnecessary demand on our water supply. 🤡

🇵🇭😠 Filipino fishermen are angry at the revelations that Vice President Sara Duterte received millions from China which can explain why she was silent when the Chinese were harassing and bullying Filipino fishermen in the West Philippine Sea.
