“Nigeria filmmakers are rushing to YouTube because of the dollar exchange rate. At ₦1,400 to $1, they celebrate 1 million views because it can bring in about $10,000. But if the dollar falls to ₦200,everyone will run away from YouTube.”

How do I explain to you that leaving a child at home, with familiar faces most times, is totally different from when they are in school with children from different homes?
When they leave him to attend those Movie Premieres, Birthdays, Dedication, Weddings and Movie shoots does she cry laidis? I remember a tweet of someone saying they don’t even enjoy their house rent cos they’re always outside. Lmaoooooooooo
I’m not even trying to be “righteous” here.
But there are a lot of women/men who are fine being with you just for the fun of it. I sincerely wonder why people still choose to play games and cause this kind of hurt to others.
The bragging rights and attraction of the church used to be about our deep spirituality and godliness, which often forfeited earthly treasures in pursuit of eternal glories.
Our people were notorious for their contentment and fidelity in a way that they couldn't be bribed into compromise or greed.
Missionaries left the luxury and comfort of urban centres and civilisations to take the gospel to the unreached and the poor.
And such sacrifices were enough to make the world ponder how valuable the gospel of Jesus was to God and His people.
I wonder if we can still boast about raising a people who love the kingdom more than their entertainment and convenience.
I wonder if our current structures can raise more missionaries than "celebrity kingdom financiers"
I wonder if the world can be convinced about the verity and gravity of the gospel with our current emphasis and models.
