The food pantry operated by @ChazaqOrg with @MetCouncil makes an impact all year, but its importance is particularly felt during the holidays. I joined them today as they prepped traditional food packages for delivery to needy families for next week’s observance of Rosh Hashanah.

Amid a heat wave, our members provided public safety, and helped reunited lost children and their parents at the communitywide @ChazaqOrg cultural carnival this past Sunday at Lander College for Men.

With several instances of dehydration, it is imperative to always make sure to drink ample water throughout the day, especially when enjoying the outdoors.

We thank Rep. @Grace4NY for stopping by, and @JCCGCI, NYC Department of Youth & Community Development, and NYC CM @JimGennaro for their continued partnership.
