@wbabails@BritGuyson ???
Did you actually read the tweet or are you just that stupid? I never mentioned burnham nor did I make any reference to who sent it ๐คฃ
@Kawaizzz@BritGuyson can you try responding to the question next time? Im sure conversations are extremely hard for you, its why we teach reading comprehension to 5 year olds across the country.
@whatabellenddd@wbabails@BritGuyson if my house was at risk of being on fire, or someone lit one near me, then sure send me an alert.
Telling me not to light a BBQ is not what the NAS was built for. Thats what we built the news for. Dumbass.
@wbabails@BritGuyson I couldnt give a toss about any politician, its cute you assume political compass when it had absolutely nothing to do with the conversation.
If there is an active large fire near me, sure, its an imminent threat. Telling me to not light BBQs isnt worthy of a NAS.
@Kawaizzz@BritGuyson we really needed a screaming phone alert to every phone in the country for this? Did we also send a NAS alert for the hosepipe ban? Shall we send one for when the flu does its rounds?
@wbabails@BritGuyson again, thats not what the system was built for. If we are now sending alerts for every thing considered a "risk", people will start ignoring them when an ACTUAL imminent threat appears.
literally not what the system was built for... #severealert
warning of "dont light bbqs" and risk of fire is NOT why the NAS was built. It was for imminent threats, not risk of fucking wildfires.
