We’re proud to launch today, with the help of Minister @NZFinMin The Women in Sport Fund. By donating to this fund, you’ll help create a climate of inclusion, fun and camaraderie on sports grounds within greater Ōtautahi Christchurch. #bettercitynz
So, we’re teaming up with Gemma McCaw to use sport as a shared passion that transcends diversity and joins people together. Sport encourages wellbeing by supporting children in their physical and mental health, giving them a sense of achievement and strong connection to others.
In the weekend we were thrilled to announce a significant contribution from @MeridianEnergy to support the local response, with a focus on supporting Maori and Pacifika to get vaccinated. Thanks to the team at the @CanterburyDHB for helping us.

"In 20 years this will be a mini forest, home to thousands of native plants and plenty of tūī birds".
That is our hope for the mini forest planted at Living Springs through our Stronger Greener Christchurch partnership with @MeridianEnergy#kaitiakitanga#bettercitynz
The duck race was a huge success! All the money that was raised will be donated to programmes supporting youth in greater Ōtautahi. Thank you Brannigans and Jarden for sponsoring. #bettercitynz
Do you give a duck? Support philanthropic youth in Christchurch, Brannigans, Jarden and The Christchurch Foundation collectively will match the first $10,000 NZD raised. https://t.co/imtzeCxE5n
