The CHP-Inland Investigative Unit, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, has been working a multi-month investigation to disrupt a major methamphetamine trafficking operation.
Approx. 1,500 lbs of methamphetamine, with a street value of approximately $100 million was seized.

• 1,943 speeding citations (96 over 100 MPH)
• 8,029 total enforcement actions
• 6 fatal crashes in CHP jurisdiction

SR-38 is completely shut down due to heavy flooding and mudslides. There is an unknown ETA for the highway to open. We urge all drivers to use alternate routes and plan your travels accordingly.
