Professing Christians who follow me on X rarely (if ever) share the Christian material that I post. I personally find this very disturbing, as I believe it is very telling of the dark age we are currently living in. We are on the precipice, quite possibly about to fall to the Red/Green Alliance, and Christians STILL don't see the urgent need to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Utterly heartbreaking.

I first watched this debate video 12 yrs ago. I very well may have seen it live, but being 63 yrs old now, my memory just isn't what it used to be. In any case, I rewatched it again just the other day, and was profoundly blessed yet again. If you have not seen a Dr. James White debate, you really need to do so. This man @HwsEleutheroi , more than any other, led me to the truth of reformed theology. He debates (and teaches) with such clear communication that I have no doubt God certainly called him to ministry, and I thank Him for doing so.

The Catechism of the Council of Trent said the magistrate bears the sword and the power of life and death, and that the exercise of that power is not murder. The Bible teaches its propriety, Paul said he was not afraid to die if he had committed a crime for which it was the proper punishment, and yet, once you abandon sola scriptura, you get to "develop" doctrine X into doctrine NOT X in a relatively short period of time. What other doctrines will undergo similar "development" in Rome?
