@BRUTESTRENGTHS “ sounds sick . sure your mom freaked when she knew . “ talia pulled her knees to her chest, fingers running over mechanical parts .

“ mom’s been a worry wort ever since I was born . guess I have some disease that’s terminal, but chrome keeps it at bay . “

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

tuning up one of her arms . testing mantis mode, blades and the other nodules .

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

@BRUTESTRENGTHS “ shit, you too ? “ a hearty chuckle, hands now resting in her lap . the amount of chrome on the outside and inside is about the same . some natural skin remained, along with her brain .

“ thanks, I guess . “ she doesn’t know who this person is, but she almost feels safe . . .

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

// her and David would get along well, I think .

he pretty much chromed up around her age, and even though their living situations were different, she’d like his attitude .

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

@BRUTESTRENGTHS running those claws through her hair, releasing it from its bindings so it hangs across her back . feels nice to have the breeze in her locks .

“ been alone for a while . got kicked out young . momma didn’t like my implants . said it was ‘scary’ . . . “

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

// I’m just over here spitballin ideas, yall can take em and run if you wanna 🤷🏻‍♀️

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

// me when Maine and Dorio become the parents she wishes she had 🤔🤔

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

@BRUTESTRENGTHS head tilted back for a moment, locking eyes with the taller presence . one taking her moonlight, but whatevs .

“ checklisting my chrome . and you ? “ now she’s curious about her . metal digits clicking one after the other . almost like a fly rubbing their legs together .

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

// this girl is part asshole teenager, part depressed terminally ill patient and I love her entirely 💖

“ ‘s it different from normal washing ? “ casually yoinking said sponge and scrubbing along a back door . “ just gotta get in the cracks, right ? “

glancing over to her ; dropping a sponge into a bucket of soap water. “ ever washed a ride before , talia? ”

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

@BRUTESTRENGTHS how sweet . another one like her mom, always buzzing about, telling the younger generation to quit while they’re ahead of the curve . . .

still testing out her implants . checking her port and making sure the faceplate’s clean . might have to bother her to get her attention .

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

peeking over . she need any help ?

[𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎𝙇𝙀𝙔♕ @royalhypocrisy]

“I know all about pushin’ my limits—.

Know what came from that too.

Yer just lucky to they ain’t pushin’ ya to scavs yet. Lucky ya’ ain’t hit a breakin’ point. . .

. . . Like I did. But you don’t owe them, Talia.”

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

‘course they won’t . knew that when I signed up .

but they gave me chrome, helped me evolve past my limit . that’s why I stay . ‘cause I can’t just leave when they did so much for me .

sure you know, don’t you ?

[𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎𝙇𝙀𝙔♕ @royalhypocrisy]

“Nothin’ wrong with that.

But you think your Maelstrom gang goons are gonna back you up?

Think they’ll help a choom out when it comes to bad biz?

Just know you got me an’ your mom.”

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

I don’t need you, I don’t need mom, I don’t need anyone . I make stuff work on my own with my own hands .

[𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎𝙇𝙀𝙔♕ @royalhypocrisy]

“I’d prefer—, ain’t like you can’t take care o’ yourself. . .

Just. . .

Make an old man worry.”

[. (spoilers ahead) @CHROMECLARITY]

I gotta ask to get outta the house now ?

[𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙎𝙇𝙀𝙔♕ @royalhypocrisy]

“TALIA—, quit runnin’ out.

If you wanna go somewhere, ASK!”
