Chinese auto makers have long been confusing the public with words like "自动驾驶"、“智驾”、“智能驾驶” (smart/intelligent/autonomous driving) used in their mkt campaigns, when in fact that are all “辅助驾驶” (assisted driving)
Real roads are full of moving parts, but Apollo Go anticipates how situations may unfold and responds smoothly in real time.

Adjacent lane, not the robotaxi lane.
Momenta is more autonomy stack / ADAS than robotaxi operator.
Still worth watching: public markets are now putting a price on China’s self-driving bet.
Momenta, a Chinese autonomous-driving firm, is set to begin trading in Hong Kong on Wednesday after raising $752 million in an IPO, testing market appetite for loss-making firms that offer promising technologies https://t.co/rGb92BNQkj
Just took a @Baidu_Inc Apollo Go ride in Jumeirah, Dubai.
Fully driverless rides across the whole district are showing up for 5 AED. About $1.36.
No safety driver, major tourist hub, less than the price of a coffee.
Pretty wild.🤯
Beach. Brunch. Boardwalk. Repeat.
Apollo Go now covers the full Jumeirah area, connecting riders across beaches, hotels, malls, offices, and some of Dubai's most popular destinations.
If Jumeirah is already on your Dubai itinerary, why not make the journey part of the experience?

Our next Robotaxi market in Europe with @Uber is #Zurich. 🇨🇭
Just weeks after #Madrid, we’re announcing plans to launch commercial #Robotaxi services in #Zurich – another step in scaling autonomous mobility across Europe.
In collaboration with Switzerland’s Federal Roads Office FEDRO, operations are expected later this year (subject to regulatory approval), with rides available via the Uber app. Our joint Robotaxi fleet will scale progressively in collaboration with local authorities, as we work toward rolling out fully driverless services in core urban areas. 💪

AmiGo is on the move in Switzerland! 🇨🇭
Built by Apollo Go and Swiss PostBus, the on-demand autonomous ride service has been testing its wheels on public roads in Eastern Switzerland since June 1, after receiving a Level 4 special permit from the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO).
Next year, passengers will be able to book rides through the AmiGo app and experience what's set to become Europe's largest planned automated public transport operation of its kind.
https://t.co/jCrY756ajt reported record quarterly Robotaxi revenues in Q1, up 395.4% YoY, and raised its 2026 Robotaxi revenue outlook and fleet target.🚖

Chinese media often call Tesla the “catfish” in China’s auto market: the outsider that forces everyone else to swim faster.
With FSD Supervised now listed for China, that effect is back.
The market noticed too: Chinese autonomous-driving stocks jumped this morning.
FSD Supervised is now available in:
- United States
- Canada
- Mexico
- Puerto Rico
- China
- Australia
- New Zealand
- South Korea
- The Netherlands
- Lithuania
The first robotaxi ride always feels a little sci-fi.
Then you notice the cabin:
spacious seats, recline mode, no driver making small talk...
and my favorite part: massage.
@ApoStructura “Sleeping on Chinese robotaxi tech” is a pretty good summary.
China’s robotaxi players don’t need to beat Waymo in San Francisco to matter globally.
Their real edge may be cost, operating density, city-level rollout, and years of grinding through messy streets.
@Baidu_Inc Apollo Go’s Wuhan outage drew a lot of attention.
Robin Li’s earnings-call point is the flip side: some “operational challenges” and “corner cases” only emerge at scale.
With 22M+ rides in China, Apollo Go has a lot of scar tissue. That may be part of the moat.
Our AI businesses continued to scale in Q1 2026.
Revenue from Baidu Core AI-powered Business exceeded RMB 13.6 billion, up 49% YoY, extending its multi-quarter growth trend. For the first time, it represented more than half of Baidu General Business revenue.
The quarter also reflected sustained momentum across AI Cloud Infra, AI Applications, and Apollo Go.

@business@TomMackenzieTV London could become a real proving ground for robotaxis. 🤔
Wayve has home turf and local road complexity. Apollo Go is looking at pilots there with Uber/Lyft.
