Some of our Year 7 pupils enjoyed handling medieval artefacts last week, kindly organised by @HistArchChester , The students involved then told stories about the path of the object from a creative point of view - a very interesting and enjoyable day!
The History department recently led a visit to the Picturehouse in Chester to watch the film 'One Life' as part of our marking of Holocaust Memorial Day.
World War One trip to Cannock Chase War cemetery, Staffordshire Regiment Museum and the National Memorial Arboretum (part 1). Students were fantastic and praised by the guides.
Day 2: learnt so much on our walking tour of Berlin. Embracing the culture and its rich history, the students ate pretzels and bought Soviet hats to keep warm!
