Cities, towns and villages across Northern Ireland have been sowing, planting and pruning ahead of the 2021 Translink Ulster in Bloom Competition, the popular competition has attracted 125 entries representing all local council areas as well as 24 bus and train stations. 1/2
A little bit of normality returned today at the Walled Garden with the Eco Buddies back tending their veg for the veg sale and the ladies down in the village looking after the flower beds.
The vegetable sale continues Mon-Fri 12-4pm and Sat 11am-2pm.

The weather was perfect for our trip on the River Blackwater organised by the Blackwater Community Barge group.
The Blackwater Community Barge operates on a 12 mile stretch of the River Blackwater bordering counties Tyrone and Armagh........

Due to Covid19, Translink Ulster in Bloom 2019 awards were presented today to Bernie McKenna, Ulster in Bloom 2019 Community Champion and to the Eco Buddies, UIB Youth Award at @dungannonarts by the Chair of @MidUlster_DC and representatives from @Translink_NI & @NI_LGA
After last years successful project growing and selling of vegetables by the Eco Buddies, it was decided at their zoom meeting to launch this years project "Go for Grow".
