Scott Gilbert finished 1st at ICDA 5 while Siya Jariwala captured 3rd! Congratulations to Anmay Gupta, Eesha Desai, and Aarav Raina who qualified for the Tournament of Champions at ICDA 5! Aarav finished as a TOC finalist 🏆

Varsity finished only 4 points short of placing 3rd at the meet! Shiv Prasad brought home 2nd. Anmay Gupta was voted best PO while Scott Gilbert’s bill on Mexican refugees won best legislation. Eesha Desai and Aarav Raina were on top in their chambers with 1st place finishes.

Conant Novices had a great meet! Dhruvi Jain, Liam O’Mahoney, and Ozcan all earned nominations. Geethika Pillai won 1st, Nini Indraganti finished 2nd and Venkata Tanuku won the best Presiding Officer as well as 1st place speaker in their respective chambers!

Conant had a solid meet finishing 6th and garnered 21 total nominations! Big thanks to the PF team for their help!
From the varsity team, Shiv Prasad brought home a 2nd place award while Aarav Raina won 3rd place and also finished as a top 10 speaker at the whole meet!

Our novice debaters had a great tournament at home this past Saturday. Kristiyana Todorova brought home 2nd place and Nini Indraganti finished 3rd! Venkata Tanuku and Geethika Pillai also were voted as the best presiding officers in their respective chambers!
