The American people deserve a government that actually works. It's time to fix the country with a constitutional amendment that would ban partisan redistricting, reverse Citizens United, and create term limits – including for the Supreme Court.
The Freedom 250 concert got canceled. UFC fighters are backing out. His name will be removed from The Kennedy Center. The $1.776 billion slush fund is dead. Watching Trump’s vanity projects crash and burn has been giving me life.
F**ck that loser.
In 2023, some of my colleagues and I were punished simply for trying to advance legislation to protect Kentucky’s children. When that happened, many stayed silent. Some distanced themselves. But one man on the national stage stepped forward and publicly had our backs — Congressman @RepThomasMassie .
That is something I will never forget.
Somewhere along the way, America started believing that the people who refuse to ‘go along to get along’ are the problem. The truth is, the people willing to stand alone for what is right are usually the only thing standing between this country and complete collapse.
We are a Constitutional Republic, and healthy debate and principled dissent are essential to good government. The Founders understood that freedom survives when people are willing to ask hard questions, challenge bad ideas, and stand firmly on principle — even when it is unpopular. Agreement on everything is not what protects a nation. Honest debate rooted in truth and conviction is what leads to sound policy and preserves liberty.
You may agree with Thomas Massie on every issue or you may not. But no honest person can deny that he is one of the few men in Washington whose principles never change depending on the pressure, the headlines, or the politics. He does not vote to increase spending. He gives constitutional reasons for his votes. He stands on principle even when it costs him personally and politically.
And look at the legislation he fights for.
Thomas Massie has fought for constitutional carry and the protection of the Second Amendment. He has fought to end capital gains taxes on family farms so families are not punished for passing their land and legacy down to their children. He has fought for local farmers and food freedom so Americans can buy fresh food without endless government interference. He has fought to audit — and ultimately end — the Federal Reserve. He has fought against warrantless government surveillance and for the privacy rights of the American people.
Ask yourself this honestly: what would America look like if we had more legislators like Thomas Massie?
Would our children and grandchildren be staring at $39 trillion in debt? Would Washington be spending money we do not have while destroying the value of the dollar our families work for every day? Would constitutional freedoms constantly be under attack?
America does not have a Thomas Massie problem. America has a shortage of leaders willing to stand with courage and conviction when it is unpopular.
When I was under attack for standing up for Kentucky children, Thomas Massie stood with me. He did not have to. But he did.
And I will stand with him.
Has anyone checked into Franklin KY data center project??? I know that the one in Cave City was stopped due to involvement by celebrity attention and a packed house with standing room only. Please tell me that there are still people out here that have the money, means, and reach to stop this madness! I cannot take all this pointless development anymore!
@ToriatheistTori He is certainly racking up a hefty bill for Hell! He needs to remember that he has to answer to the US and the rest of the world before he goes there.
