For those wishing to contact candidates running for school board, good luck. No contact information is being shared. The second page of the nomination form is not posted and that has the candidate’s contact info. Apparently it is fine to share the first page with an address.
If people are going to vote SKparty because of the change room issue at a public elementary school, they are not looking at the big picture. Focus on where money is being spent, what promises are being made and how those will be funded.
@SaskMorningLive @CTVDarrell Most, if not all, schools have policies around cellphones. If the government wants to ban them from the classroom - great, but tgey make the statement and leave it to others to sort out the details (which are important). Then they do not have to take ownership of any issues.
@leaderpost Great, but what is being done so that people do not need to rely on a food bank? Are food banks growing gardens? Is anyone teaching people how to shop and how to make their groceries do more
(roast a chicken and use the carcass for soup)? Think long term.
Can someone answer this: where does all the money collected as education tax go? If 500 000 people who own property each paid $1000, that is $500 000 000. That is more than was budgeted for education.
But I think I am looking for a lot of unicorns. I hope that the campaign stays away from the slander - because if the only way to make your party look good is by constantly judging the other one - you need to ask yourself how solid your platform is.
help themselves and close friends get rich quickly AND to make it through two terms so they get a big fat pension. My dad used to say that if you out politicians into a bag and shook it up, you would not be able to tell them apart when they came out. I totally feel that now.
As another election looms, I hope to see some people running that are capable of thinking of everyone, that truly care about the province i which we live. That will question their leader when things are offside. That will listen to the people and not just the party line.
