Dear students:
The CIEE Center opening hours during Feria week will be from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. Please, note that Wednesday the 8th is a holiday, so, the CIEE Center will be closed.
Not everyone can dance with the great flamenco dancer La Yunko. CIEE Seville students had the privilege this semester, during a workshop where they learned with her the basics of some of flamenco's most traditional styles. #Ciee#StudyAbroad
Abraham Álvarez (aka Abekoco), #CIEESeville Student Life Coordinator and Photographer, went to explore the newly open bar at the 37th floor of Torre Sevilla. As a matter of fact, this is the highest point in the city, looking over the old town and Guadalquivir River. #StudyAbroad
Liza F., student from @ClarkUniversity participating in the CIEE Seville Liberal Arts program, visited the independent radio station 'Radiópolis' with her class #Immersion#StudyAbroad#CIEESeville#CIEE
Here's the podcast of Liza's first program:

Each new issue of the student magazine más+menos is the proof of multiple encounters, as well as the embodiment of a
community-based educational project. The 30th issue of our magazine is 'Identity and Place' #StudyAbroad#StudentWork#CIEESeville#CIEE

https://t.co/GxHQg37nWf #CIEESeville offers for-credit professional #internship, in Spanish and English, in the fields of telecommunications, engineering, insurance, finance, hospitality, marketing, human resources, software technologies or renewable energies.

Some students participated in a sevillanas workshop. The activity, which was very hands-on and fun, served the purpose of a linguistic activity as students communicated only in Spanish with the bailaor and had to follow the class instructed 100% in #Spanish#CIEE#Dance4Fun
Our students have worked with archive photographs from the Spanish Civil War in Seville, as well as with other images out of context (from other war contexts, from war movies, or from video games). And here you have the amazing outcome of the experience #StudyAbroad#FieldTrip
Photographer and #CIEESeville professor Antonio Pérez Gil joined Rubén Díaz (#CIEE course: 'Digital and Visual Culture in Contemporary Spain') to make a workshop on visual cultural memory, manipulation and the power of images: 'Ways of seeing Spain: Photography and Truth'.
As part of the Professional Teaching Development class, Julia F., #CIEESeville participant from @ElonGlobal, teaches English to 7-8-year-olds at the local School @ColEsclavasSvq. Few experiences abroad can provide such level of immersion and reciprocity within the host community
The Interest Group of the Liberal Arts Program: Urban Ecology, led by professor Marina Blesa, visited Luciano at the Huerto del Rey Moro, a communal garden which he envisioned, together with a group of neighbors, in 2004. #StudyAbroad#Sustainability#Ecosystems#Seville#CIEE
Tucked away in the neighborhood of San Julian, Luciano cultivates a community of permaculture pioneers. Through working with schoolchildren and friends in the development of sustainable agricultural ecosystems, Luciano demonstrates that hope for the future stirs in the soil.
#ConnectingCultures: students of the Business&Society program reciprocated the very warm welcome they received in #Morocco earlier this month at the Ecole de Commerce et Gestion in #Tangier by inviting to #Seville a group of its students.
Students in the Business&Society program regularly visit the Old School of Arts and Crafts of Tetouan. B&S students have had a go at all the different workshops in the school under the guidance of both the teachers and the pupils of the school #CIEE#StudyAbroad#CIEESeville
