Tuberculosis is preventable and curable yet still claims over 1 million lives every year.
Too many people still lack access to diagnosis and care.
At CIFF, we’re working with partners to help close this gap, because no one should die from TB.

Why invest in the #GlobalFund?
Because investing in health is an opportunity to create a world where children can thrive. Because the @GlobalFund knows how to turn innovation into impact.
That's why, earlier this year, CIFF announced our $200m commitment, a five-fold increase.
Today, @UNICEFkenya and @CIFFchild co-hosted a screening of the acclaimed film “#NAWI: Dear Future Me” in Nairobi.
The screening brought together government leaders, development partners, civil society, youth & advocates promoting girls' rights & opportunities. #EndChildMarriage
A major step forward for women's reproductive health & choice 🌍
The @WHO has granted prequalification to the first generic self-injectable contraceptive: a healthcare breakthrough that will help expand access and autonomy for women & girls globally.

A well-nourished child 🟰 better educational outcomes 🎓 and stronger economic performance in their community 📈.
Hear from @dralokiranjan and Marie McGrath who speak to the importance of nutrition as a multiplier, that helps accelerate progress on all #SDGs:
Thank you @ciffchild for pledging an additional US$50 million to support innovation in the fight against tuberculosis!
This brings CIFF’s total partnership with the @GlobalFund to US$200 million, accelerating progress to end TB by scaling new solutions, expanding access to testing and treatment, and reaching the people who need it most.
Together, we will #StopAtNothing to defeat TB and build a healthier future.
TB is the number one killer of those living with HIV. It is also an infection that can be both prevented and treated.
Today, CIFF is proud to announce $𝟱𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 to the @GlobalFund, towards TB testing, building on our experience in HIV diagnostic innovation.
With India aiming to become a net-zero economy by 2070, it may need to consider balancing investments in clean energy and job-creating industries with parallel efforts to build resilience, for example, through climate-smart agriculture and cooler, more liveable cities.
Linking these development and climate goals to public finance, Koyel Mandal, Director of Climate at CIFF in India, and Dr. Amit Kapoor, Honorary Chairman of the Institute for Competitiveness, explore in a LiveMint OpEd, how the 16th Finance Commission could integrate climate considerations into the fiscal devolution formula between the Centre and the states. Doing so could help correct existing imbalances, bridge investment gaps, and establish a more equitable federal model - one that could also serve as a blueprint for other countries facing similar climate and development challenges.

A climate-resilient Africa means enabling every child to grow, learn, and lead in a world that is not only surviving climate change, but shaping the solutions to it. This is the long-term impact we must invest in, and the kind of future we are committed to.

Congratulations to @educate_girls on becoming the first Indian organisation to win the prestigious 2025 #RamonMagsaysay Award! By enrolling out-of-school girls and ensuring quality learning, #EducateGirls is empowering girls and setting them up for success.
Kate Hampton (@katehamptongray), CEO of @CIFFchild, was pleased to meet Hon’ble MSDE Minister Jayant Chaudhry (@Office_ChJayant) on the sidelines of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (#FFD4) in Seville, Spain.
They discussed expanding women-led #skilling through innovative and outcome-based financing models such as the #SkillImpactBond — a strong example of how public-private sector leadership can drive large-scale impact.
India has demonstrated global leadership in leveraging outcome-based financing models to advance skilling and employment opportunities, especially for women.
At CIFF, we reaffirm our shared commitment to our long-term collaboration with @MSDESkillIndia and remain deeply committed to supporting the Government of India in advancing women-led development for a #ViksitBharat2047
