Hauppauge,NY-SCPD arrested a Hauppauge man for DWI and reckless endangerment following a fatal crash.Scott Brunengraber was driving southbound on Terry Rd when he struck a parked car at approximately 3:15 a.m.A male passenger was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

Islandia, NY- Suffolk Police 4th squad detectives are investigating a crash at the intersection of Vet's Highway and Motor Parkway that kept the roadways closed for around 4 hours. 1 person was seriously injured. Awaiting further details from police.

Hauppauge, NY- Suffolk County Police are investigating a crash on the east bound LIE that critically injured a motorcyclist just before 11pm last night. The rider was airlifted to SBUMC for treatment. The roadway was closed for over 3 hours for the investigation.

Islandia, NY- The west bound Long Island Expressway is closed at exit 58 for an investigation of a crash involving 3 vehicles....among the injured is a 2 year old who was rushed to SBU along with an adult who was airlifted.

Fire Island, NY- 2 children are hospitalized after being attacked, possibly by a small shark, on the Ocean side of Atlantique and Sailor's Haven. Both are in stable condition. Police are searching waters with a helicopter, beaches are closed.

Hauppauge to Medford, NY- A construction crane led Suffolk Police on a pursuit on the LIE after leaving the scene of a crash in Hauppauge. The mangle car's occupants, luckily, were not seriously injured. The chase ended near exit 63 with the arrest of the driver.

Central Islip, NY- Firefighters were called to a fire in a liquor store on Route 111 after a dumpster fire extended to the building. Fire got into the attic of the store. No injuries were reported.

Hauppauge, NY- Suffolk DA Tim Sini announced that a leader in the MS13 gang has been convicted in court of threatening teens that if they don't join the gang "that's how you end up dead in a park", just days after 4 victims were murdered in C Islip last year.
