India has had a rich legacy of visual arts within its civilisational heritage, existing in some shape or form for over 2,000 years. At the same time, we are now at a fascinating stage where hyper-contemporary culture is rapidly emerging. That is where contemporary art becomes especially significant, as artists tell the stories of the times we live in.
It is also one of the few mediums that intersects with fashion, technology, performance, and media, while interpreting culture in a way that stands the test of time.
