Everyone wants to scale AI. But scaling AI also means scaling the infrastructure behind it.
As organizations move from experimentation to production and particularly as agentic AI takes off, the demands on computing power, energy, cost and data center capacity are growing rapidly.
The key lesson? There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
The smartest organizations are starting with the outcome they want to achieve, understanding the workloads involved, and then choosing the right mix of computing resources to support them.
I recently spoke with Alexander Troshin from AMD about why scalability, performance and energy efficiency are becoming so important as businesses build the infrastructure needed for the next phase of AI.

🤖 What exactly is a World Foundation Model – and why is everyone in AI talking about them?
Today's most advanced AI systems are moving beyond simply generating text and images. World Foundation Models are designed to understand how the world works, enabling AI to reason, predict outcomes and make more informed decisions across complex environments.
In this short video, I explain what World Foundation Models are, why they're such an important step forward for AI, and what they could mean for businesses, technology leaders and the future of intelligent systems.
🎥 Watch now and let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Do you think World Foundation Models will be the key building block for truly autonomous AI?

$NVDA is on pace to make a trillion dollars plus in income over the next few years. Deploying its capital to accelerate the buildout of AI is wise investment, which will secure its role as market leader and enable innovation to flourish.
People that suggest it is nothing more than circular financing don’t get the capital intensity of this cycle but moreover don’t understand savvy corporate venture. 👏🏻🚀

A digital service may work for most users and still exclude someone, making accessibility a matter of participation and independence.
Imagine understanding every instruction, yet unable to complete the final step because one control works only with a mouse.
Microblog @antgrasso
That is why accessibility is a sensitive issue.
A small design choice can turn independence into dependence, forcing someone to ask for help with a task they could otherwise complete alone.
The barrier is often created by the interface, not by the person.
Good accessibility begins with the experience itself. Clear layouts reduce effort, while voice or captions offer another route when screens or audio create barriers.
AI assistance can support understanding in real time without taking control away from the user.
It can clarify instructions or adapt how content is presented, while helping people navigate a service with less effort.
The person still decides; the technology simply makes the path easier to follow.
The real test is participation: can more people complete the task with confidence and without depending on someone else?

A cheap AI prompt can still create an expensive business process. An agent may read policies, check the CRM, call tools, retry after a timeout, and still need human approval.
The real metric is the full cost of completing the task, not the first prompt.
Microblog by @antgrasso
Every passage adds model usage or staff time, even when the first prompt costs only a few cents.
How much did the whole task cost once the agent actually finished it?
That is the metric leaders need. Tokens are the small units of text processed by the model, and larger context requires more of them. Organizations should measure token use and tool calls for each completed task. Retries and human review belong in the same calculation.
Once these costs are visible, teams can shorten context and improve instructions. They can also remove repeated steps that add little business benefit.
The first prompt is only one line on the AI invoice.
