24 June 2026,CIPMC Shillong in collaboration with SBCL, organized a #KhetBachaoAbhiyan2026 awareness programme at the Farmer Training Centre, Upper Shillong, East Khasi Hills. The programme focused on the safe & judicious use of pesticides and IPM techniques for crop protection.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day2026, all officers & officials of CIPMC Shillong participated in a yoga session at the office premises. Officials also took part in the month-long online yoga session and reaffirmed their commitment to adopting yoga for a healthy life๐งโโ๏ธ.

On 13 March, CIPMC Shillong participated in the Resham Krishi Mela organized by the Central Silk Board at Wahiajer, West Jaintia Hills. The CIPMC exhibition stall attracted farmers & dignitaries, creating awareness on IPM, safe & judicious use of pesticides, and the NPSS App.
CIPMC Shillong successfully conducted a 2-day HRD/OTP training under Rabi 2025-26 on IPM in vegetable crops with emphasis on the NPSS App for farmers at Nartiang/Nomdong, Thadlaskein, West Jaintia Hills. Officials from the State Horticulture Department and IORA were present.
On 6th March, the Dte. of Agriculture, Govt. of Meghalaya hosted a virtual training on NPSS for officials of Meghalaya. CIPMC,Shillong conducted the session and highlighted the importance of NPSS, followed by a presentation and demonstration of the NPSS app for pest surveillance.
On 4th & 5th March, CIPMC, Shillong organized a Farmers Field Day and concluded the 14-week FFS Rabi 2025-26 at Pyndendiwah and Pyndenumsaw, South West Khasi Hills, with active participation of farmers, with women farmers forming the majority, emphasizing the adoption of IPM.

On 28 January, CIPMC Shillong conducted a training programme for IORA Ecology Solutions trainees and farmers on IPM and NPSS App. Programme included a Seed Treatment demonstration and a campaign on the safe and judicious use of pesticides were organised at KVK, East Khasi Hills.
On the 27th in Shillong, CIPMC officials served as resource persons, providing training to field trainers of IORA Ecological Solutions on IPM & NPSS App to enable them to train farmers in their regions. Dr. Devaraja K. P. delivered a lecture on IPM, followed by an IPM exhibition.
CIPMC Shillong marked the occasion of 77th Republic Day on 26 January with the unfurling of the National Flag at the office compound, celebrating the spirit of unity, democracy, and constitutional values.
