Testing Readiness, Saving Lives: Multi-Agency Cloudburst and Flood Response Drill Held at NTPC Tapovan

A Multi-Agency Mock Drill based on a Cloudburst/Flood scenario was conducted at CISF Unit TVHP NTPC Tapovan, Uttarakhand, to assess preparedness and response capabilities during natural disaster situations.

Personnel from CISF, Garhwal Scouts, ITBP, NDRF, SDRF, State Fire Services, Local Police, BRO, NTPC, IB, LIA, SDM Office, HCC, medical teams and other stakeholders actively participated in the exercise, demonstrating coordinated response and effective inter-agency collaboration.

The drill aimed to validate disaster response mechanisms, strengthen coordination among stakeholders and enhance preparedness for timely rescue, relief and emergency management operations during adverse situations.
