My 8th Annual Cornbread Reading Conference was a huge success!!! Here are a few pictures from yesterday. In addition to having fun and dancing with Cornbread, students enjoyed a highly interactive, engaging presentation learning about CONTEXT CLUES, ALLITERATIONS, IDIOMS, CENTRAL IDEAS, SUPPOTING DETAILS, and also the importance of eating healthy and exercising. Thanks to the partnership with @CISJAX for bringing approximately 400 student out and also to @ChartwellsDuval for providing the lunch!! The Schultz Center is always my first choice for a top of the line venue!! @DuvalSchools@KidsHopeJAX@OfficialVyStar
