التقى عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اللواء سلطان العرادة، اليوم، المدير القُطْري لمنظمة مدنيين في الصراع ( سيفيك ) الدولية دينا المأمون وفريق عمل المنظمة بمحافظة مأرب، وناقش معهم الأنشطة التي تم تنفيذها خلال الفترة السابقة، والمشاريع والبرامج المستقبلية على المستوى المحلي والوطني.

واستمع العرادة من مدير المنظمة، إلى شرح موجز عن الأنشطة والدورات والورش التدريبية المنفذة في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن، ومحافظتي مأرب وتعز خلال الثلاثة الأعوام الماضية لتعزيز آليات حماية المدنيين أثناء الصراع والعمليات الأمنية والعسكرية .

وأكد عضو مجلس القيادة، التزام المؤسستين الأمنية والعسكرية اليمنية بحماية المدنيين أثناء تنفيذ العمليات الميدانية، والحرص الشديد على تجنيبهم ويلات الصراع الدامي الذي أشعلته مليشيات الحوثي الإرهابية..مشيداً بقدرات وخبرات منظمة (سيفيك) كمركز متخصص في حماية المدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة ودورهم في رسم السياسات المتعلقة بالحماية، وإيجاد الآليات المناسبة، وإعداد الخطط والاستراتيجيات وتقديم المساعدات القانونية اللازمة لمنع وتخفيف الأضرار وجبر الضرر
