After working on his stride/direction Carter was 15/19 for strikes in two innings of work. A noticeable improvement with command. Velo did not dip.

Carter struggled with control during the spring mainly because of his direction/foot landing. FB however, stayed consistent in the upper 80s touching 90.

We’ve made a big focus on correcting direction and found some cues today that really helped clean it up.

Hoping that translates into a higher % of strikes and some more ticks on the FB
