@CKPNW @2leftsN7yrsago @Ineverglow Unfortunately, the damage is too great for even Peter Furler to save it. Fans would probably just as soon continue to support Furler as a solo artist (with Steve Taylor partnering up with him again as a songwriter, perhaps).
@DDayCobra This feels intentionally misleading.
1) I say this as someone who is both right-leaning and voted for Trump: Never did he mention Trump in this statement, even when read in full context.
2) He did not change Superman's catchphrase because it was never said in the movie at all.
When a Karen doesn’t like something being preached at church
KAREN: “Let me speak to your manager!”
PREACHER: “Sure thing, ma’am. How about you close us off with a word of prayer?”
KAREN: 😬
I haven’t seen “Acolyte” (and have no plans to), but I have read the posts about this scene and I think it’s funny that it’s even controversial when the physics of fire and sound in space have been ignored in “Star Wars” for years.
FACT: I consider myself a big fan of “Star Wars”. Always have been, always will be.
ALSO FACT: I have no interest in most of the upcoming “Star Wars” shows/films in the pipeline (apart from “The Mandalorian & Grogu”).
Both can be true.
