@SCweather_wx It’s crazy that snow is more common in February historically In The carolinas then December even March snow is more common in many places, we just don’t get the big cold spells anymore after Feb 5th it seems.
@SCweather_wx We are on our longest stretch on record without measurable snow In March In Greensboro, and February is pretty dang rough too, that’s the big reason our overall snowfall avg in Greensboro has dropped a couple inches, we just don’t get the Feb- Mar storms anymore
@VermonsterWx Man August is perfect In the hills of Vermont not too hot not too cold. Man I would love to have a month with 81 Or lower Max In Central Nc that only happens in late fall & winter
@SCweather_wx El Niños might actuallly have been snowier then neutral, the great southeast snow storm Of 1973 Occured in El Niño even east based but we just don’t live in the same environment as back then.
@SCweather_wx El Niño used to be better for the southeast, they used to be our snowiest winters on record after Neutral because cold air source was better back in the day, nowadays we need -NAO With La Niña to bring the goods or Neutral.
