@NicoleAuerbach Selling naming rights to jobs, to me, is still a wild development. "Welcome to Chili's, I'm the Frank and Donna Arbuckle Manager of Beverage Services, Scott. What can I get you to drink?"
@acaseofthegolf1 My guess, I could be wrong, is that they don't see the LET for what it is: a developmental tour. They need to incentivize the best Europeans to play at least a modest LET schedule.
@ProbSolveCaucus@ZavalaA@paulmitche11@persily Yes, @paulmitche11 did a great job when CA required nonpartisan redistricting. He also did a great job for Democrats when they ditched nonpartisan map drawing to create 5 more D seats. "Competitive, court-adopted congressional maps" are not currently in use in CA.

@Vern_Funquist@PabloEscoburner Worshipping at the altar of a person calling balls and strikes versus ABS makes no sense. What also makes no sense, IMO, is an ABS that is wider than the plate.
@EddyFurniss@BMattAU Calling pitches literally off the plate strikes is bonkers. But as a practical matter, these games would be 5 hours long otherwise. Ideally, umps need a lot of ABS training before putting it into practice. Or, gee I don't know, actually ditch the home plate ump altogether.
The expansion of the NCAA basketball tournaments has now been formally adopted, sources tell @YahooSports.
The DI Board of Directors and Board of Governors have approved the move to 76 teams and the NCAA has formalized the agreement with its TV partners.
