Maybe they should have read the employee handbook. The one that informs them that they are not allowed to post on behalf of the company without written permission. It also tells them not to post videos while inside of the restaurant, or in uniform. Perhaps they would have read the part where they prohibit the use of personal devices while on duty.

Seems the Judge was in a bad mood. However, as an IT professional, we expect this. No one is happy when they have to call IT. The simple "you're back up and running Sir" is all that's needed. Then you move on to the next, so they can get on with their job.
Computers, technology, etc. is difficult for a lot of people. Just because we get it, doesn't mean everyone else should.

You put in a PTO request. Requests can either be approved or denied.

Did the other coworker put theirs in earlier than you? Can the other coworker even do the same job, or is it between just your manager and you?

This is what it is like working for someone else. It's not an isolated incident, everyone who works for someone else goes through the same thing.

You can either change your plans, or risk your employment there.

Your best move is to learn from this lesson.
