🇺🇦 Stepan Chubenko. A pro-Ukraine Donbas native. 16-year-old. A goalie & poet. Fearless. Son to a Ukrainian dad & Russian mom.
On this day 12 years ago, he took a train in the occupied Donbas. They arrested him. Tortured for days. Executed him mafia-style.
Months later, his body was found. All the teeth were missing. Hands bound behind his back.
Never forget. Never forgive.
Today, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck one of the key military enterprises in Russia's Kirov. It supplies components for the occupier's aircraft and missile systems, which are used, in particular, in the massive attacks against our cities and communities. I thank our warriors for their precision. Our response is entirely justified.
Our long-range sanctions also proved effective against an oil facility nearly 1,350 kilometers away. There were other successful strikes as well. Importantly, the operation against Russian logistics, which supplies the occupying army with drone components, navigation equipment, and military gear, remains underway.
I thank every unit of our Armed Forces, our intelligence agencies, and the Security Service of Ukraine involved in achieving these results. Glory to Ukraine!
Report from Mykhailo Drapatyi, Yevhenii Khmara, and Pavlo Palisa. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine briefed me on the overall situation on the frontline. We took a detailed look at the sectors and tasks that require the greatest attention and swift decisions.
In particular, we determined our course of action in response to Russia's attacks on our country's infrastructure – specifically, to Russia's terror against our cities and communities in the border and frontline regions, Kyiv and the region, Odesa region, and our maritime corridor. At every level – the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, other government agencies, intelligence and special services – there is a clearly defined list of measures.
Yevhenii Khmara is preparing decisions that will ensure the prompt implementation of the requests made by corps commanders following our discussions with them over the past few weeks. Pavlo Palisa and the Office team will continue helping coordinate this work. Glory to Ukraine!
Spain’s players refused to celebrate with Trump after the U.S. president attempted to insert himself into the middle of their victory photo. He was politely pushed aside.
Yesterday and today have been filled with consultations. Of course, I hear what people are saying. Today, I spoke at length with Mykhailo Fedorov. I also spoke with Oleksandr Syrskyi today. Decisions regarding the army will be worked out.
Thank you to everyone who cares about Ukraine. Thank you to everyone defending our positions on the front line and to those doing their best to bring the war back home – to Russia, where it came from. Glory to Ukraine!
I’ve visited Ukraine four times as Prime Minister, and I’ve seen first-hand the devastation caused by Russia’s invasion.

That’s why we’re funding fighter jets for Ukraine, strengthening their ability to defend themselves while supporting thousands of skilled jobs in the UK.
So good to see you again my friend, @ZelenskyyUa.
