The video she’s reposting is Hasan simply quote tweeting Shannon watts because she accused him of “mysoginy”. For Sarah and Shannon, a sex pest who doxes and harasses women is fine. But Hasan quote tweeting Shannon watts is a step too far.

I have to say something there. There is a clip circulating WILDLY among conservative commentators and right-wing pundits of a woman who spoke this morning at a press conference with myself and Abdul.

She had never spoken at a press conference before. Beforehand, she shared with me that she was really nervous. But she told me it was important for her to be there as a UAW member because she believed in using her voice for her fellow members and for working families.

Doing something new is HARD. And scary.

She started speaking and got stage fright. What you can't see in the video is that under the podium, she reached back. When I saw it, I grabbed her hand. Abdul did as well. We both stepped forward to stand with her.

But the way you all are tearing her apart. God forbid anyone ever step out of their comfort zone. God forbid anyone ever try.

It's callous, cruel, and it's no wonder why so many people absolutely despise this moment that we're in. Because God forbid you're not perfect. God forbid you show fear. God forbid you mess up.

I am always proud to stand with people using their voice even when they're scared, for trying something new, for stepping out of their comfort zones.

We need a lot more of her - people wanting to use their voice even when it shakes - and a lot less keyboard warriors who could care less about how needlessly cruel they are if it means getting a like or a retweet or some views.

And I can prove it.

5 facts:

1) @DarioAmodei of Anthropic AI explicitly warned Hegseth that AI's targeting data was unreliable, and that without human oversight was going to get innocent people killed.

Amodei asked for assurances that there would always be human oversight when Anthropic is used to determine military targets. Hegseth refused, immediately blacklisted Anthropic by classifying them as a "supply chain risk*," and began replacing Anthropic software with Sam Altman's OpenAI.

(Think about how many times Ai has suggested a place for dinner the ended up being closed...it's that simple.)

2) Hegseth Eliminated the Civilian Harm Mitigation Department

...which was specifically tasked with ensuring civilian objects wouldn't accidentally be targeted;

3) Hegseth changed military policy and protocol to explicitly prioritize lethality and speed over respect for civilian life and overall accuracy - all of which is stated openly in press releases from the military since Trump's inauguration;

(What did we think "maximum lethality, not tepid legality" meant?!)

4) He told military personnel that they should ignore the “stupid” Rules of Engagement, which dictated the rules of target engagement and accountability; and

5) He fired the lawyers who were responsible for overseeing compliance with the International Laws of Armed Conflict.

He made a conscious decision to disregard the value of the lives of civilians in strike zones.

He willfully ignored the military’s legal and ethical responsibilities to mitigate civilian harm —

all of which directly resulted in the death of 168 schoolgirls, along with their teachers and administrators, on February 28 2026 in Minhab, Iran.

If we are able to to expose the truth of what happened here, perhaps there could be some accountability. Perhaps, with enough pressure and scrutiny, we could MAKE the Secretary care about the lives of innocents and FORCE his to change the protocol - even if he doesn’t want to.
