@ProFootballHOF Thurman Thomas 1990. Destroyed the Jets in NJ. Countless other HOF’s on Buffalo’s roster, but that day Thurman stood out and was a pain to watch.
Today In 1989: Cincinnati #Reds outfielder Paul O'Neill makes an all-time classic play vs. the Philadelphia #Phillies when he kicks the ball back to first base! #MLB#Baseball#History
@paulril59129293@NYY1996BR @YankeesWFAN I hear ya but the Yanks can absorb the majority of the salary. For the right team w prospects who thinks they can make a run at a WS, Chapman could still hold good value and the Yanks would be smart to do it if presented
@NYY1996BR@paulril59129293 @YankeesWFAN I don’t disagree, started with assumption it making sense provided certain return. In form of prospects, salary irrelevant now for Yanks. They need a Stick Michael type rebuild. With the break, how often Yanks will be ahead, not sure how many good inn he’ll have before deadline.
Sometimes being Nice is it’s own reward. Companies that kept on paying employees during the pandemic aren’t facing labor shortages. Those who laid off people are struggling to fill positions. and are losing business to those who kept workers on. Compassion is good for business
@paulril59129293@NYY1996BR @YankeesWFAN Sweeny mentioned and I think of that group, Chapman has obviously become most dispensable; value could be intrinsic to right team given how hard it is to find good relievers. Could easily be setup guy or full time closer on contenders. Indians, A’s, Brewers, Phillies, Braves
@LargeBarstool Emmitt Smith was doing serious work on the craps table at Venetian yesterday…for IWYIM, Jasmine in Bellagio had ridiculous dishes, Coral Cod topped it all #Vegas
Gotta love @AmericanAir . “ sorry we can’t extend status because you didn’t fly in 2020. Oh, and also, your accrued mileage expired” “ We don’t give status to everyone but you can pay to challenge for it”. Whaaaat?!?
