Hitler vs. Rothschild: The National Socialist Targeting of the Rothschilds.

After the National Socialists came to power in 1933, they implemented “Aryanization” policies to expropriate Jewish-owned businesses and properties, often portraying the Rothschilds as part of a Jewish conspiracy undermining Germany’s economy.

Although the family’s original bank in Frankfurt had closed in 1901, the regime targeted lingering Rothschild-associated assets.

Streets and landmarks were renamed or altered: Rothschildallee became Karolingerallee, and plaques on Luisenplatz and Mathildenstrasse honoring family members were removed.

Properties such as the Mathilde von Rothschild Paediatric Hospital, the Georgine Sara von Rothschild Foundation, and the Rothschild residence at Grosser Wollgraben 26 were confiscated by the Gestapo.

Family members, including Albert, Rudolf, and Erich, sold homes in Grüneburg and Königstein under pressure and emigrated.

Albert von Rothschild later died by suicide in Switzerland.

Following the National Socialist annexation of Austria in March 1938 (known as the Anschluss), the regime seized Rothschild holdings as part of Aryanization efforts.

This included the S.M. von Rothschild bank, the influential Creditanstalt bank, Palais Rothschild properties, extensive art collections, and other financial assets, which were redistributed to National Socialist supporters with public backing.

Baron Louis de Rothschild was arrested and held for ransom at the Hotel Metropole, converted into a Gestapo headquarters.

During his detention, he encountered former Austrian Chancellor Kurt von Schuschnigg.

Louis was released after over a year; only after lengthy negotiations between the family and National Socialists did they agree to release him upon payment of what today is the equivalent of a (speculated) $21,000,000 ransom, believed to have been the largest bail bond in history.

With the National Socialist occupation of France in 1940 and the collaborationist Vichy regime, de Rothschild Frères banking operations, the Château Lafite vineyard, other real estate, art collections, and financial assets were confiscated or looted.

Family members like Robert and Edouard fled or went into hiding.

Philippe de Rothschild learned that the Gestapo had arrested his wife, Elisabeth de Rothschild, on charges of attempting to cross a line of demarcation with a forged permit; they deported his estranged wife in 1941 to Ravensbrück concentration camp, where she died—the cause of her death remains unresolved—on 23 March 1945.

Élisabeth reportedly died of epidemic typhus on 23 March 1945 at Ravensbrück, though Philippe’s memoir states that she was thrown into a concentration-camp oven, alive.

Haplogroup E1b1b does not prove Jewish ancestry. Jean-Paul Mulders (the author of the earlier study) also never claimed it indicated Jewish ancestry, and it does not.

Around 80% of E1b1b carriers in Austria and Germany have no Jewish paternal link.

Turi King also recently tested Hitler’s DNA for the documentary Hitler’s DNA: Blueprint of a Dictator.

The researchers were able to confirm without a doubt that the blood came from Hitler by comparing the DNA found in it to DNA previously confirmed by the older Jean-Paul Mulders testing to have come from one of his relatives.

So now that we have established that both Heinrich Pfeifer and Hansjürgen Koehler (aka Walter Korodi) had already emigrated from Germany by 1936, they could not possibly have seen this alleged Austrian government report in 1938 as claimed in the book Inside the Gestapo.

Neither of them could have stayed at the Hotel Metropole, which was converted into the Austrian Gestapo headquarters after the 1938 Anschluss.

This is the same hotel where Baron Rothschild was detained. Nor could they have received or passed on this report to Hitler in 1938, as claimed in Hansjürgen Koehler’s book that plagiarized and added to Pfeifer’s manuscript, see photo.

The “Belgium” study’s author (Jean-Paul Mulders) never claimed Jewish ancestry; that was media sensationalism.

Family Tree DNA clarified that 80% of E1b1b carriers in Austria and Germany have no Jewish paternal link.

Based on Family Tree DNA records, no more than 9% of the populations of Germany and Austria belong to the haplogroup E1b1b. Among those, the vast majority (about 80%) are not associated with Jewish ancestry.

“This data clearly shows that just because one person belongs to the branch of the Y-chromosome referred to as haplogroup E1b1b, that does not mean the person is likely to be of Jewish ancestry,” said Professor Hammer.

Seeking revenge and a return to power, he negotiated secretly with Hitler, whose party was the largest after the July and November 1932 elections.

Papen believed Hitler was a simpleton he could “box in” and control within a coalition government dominated by conservatives, thereby restoring his own influence and stabilizing the Weimar Republic.

After Hindenburg’s death in August 1934, Hitler merged the Chancellor and President roles. Papen was sidelined to diplomatic posts but held no domestic power.

On September 1, 1939, a new law allowed the Red Army to expand from 1.5 million men (spring 1939) to 5.7 million (spring 1941) without any public declaration of mobilization that would alarm Hitler or neighboring countries.

It also prepared 18 million reservists to fill the ranks instantly. By June 22, 1941, the Red Army (excluding navy, interior troops, and border guards) had reached 5,081,000 men.

But there was a strict time limit. Army service lasted only two years. By September 1, 1941, millions of soldiers would finish their terms and go home.

All the new offensive formations, airborne assault corps with over a million trained parachutists, thousands of attack aircraft, mechanized and tank divisions built for deep invasion of Europe, would have to be disbanded.

It was economically impossible to maintain such a massive mobilized army without going to war. Stalin knew this perfectly well. The decision to enter a large war was made in the Kremlin in August 1939, with the deadline set for the summer of 1941.
