Must Watch: A message from a Venezuelan citizen telling us the truth about what was really going on in his country, who the real president should have been, and how grateful he is to President Trump and his administration.
To be honest: whether you’re a fan of Reno Omokri or not, it is impossible to deny that the man possesses a formidable intellect; the type that slices through nonsense.
You will never catch him posting those tiresome rhetoric. No! Whenever Reno posts, be it on Facebook or X, he tackles matters of grave national importance. He selects an issue that truly troubles Nigeria and before long, he has woven a compelling narrative around it. He hammers the point so relentlessly yet elegantly that even the most apolitical person will find themselves reading every word. That, my people, is pure talent (no be beans).
You all will remember how he stood ten toes down for President Goodluck Jonathan during that administration. Love GEJ or loathe him, you cannot rewrite history: Reno was a one-man infantry, defending the government with facts, wit, and unapologetic loyalty.
Now, his name has been forwarded for an ambassadorial posting. Personally, I am not a fan of his, but if anyone were to ask my humble opinion, I would say: why ever not? The man is a national asset we have yet to properly utilise. He thinks critically, writes with the precision of an Oxford don, and speaks with the clarity and conviction of a seasoned academic. Place someone of that calibre on the global stage to represent Nigeria, and watch how swiftly our country’s image receives the kind of glow-up we have only dreamt about.
Of course, people are quick to label him cunning, two-faced, or politically unstable. Fair enough, those accusations seem valid. But let us be honest: a mind that never revises its position in the face of new evidence is not principled. It is rigid. Reno has journeyed from being the loudest megaphone of the PDP to becoming one of its most critics. Some call it betrayal; I choose to call it evolution. The man’s eyes have opened wider, and that is precisely the kind of sharp, adaptable mind Nigeria needs when sitting at the table with world powers.
I’m hoping to see Reno sell Nigeria to the world better than Dangote sells cement to Nigerians. Because why not? Considering all his well-perfected marketing strategies.
This is, of course, entirely my personal opinion. If you disagree, no wahala. But deep down, even his critics know say the guy get level pass many. End. ✍️ 🇳🇬
Family is the real deal. However, folks need to learn how to emotionally detach from family because it can cause serious disagreements in their romantic relationships.
I once dated a guy who canceled our planned date because he needed to run errands for his older sister abroad. Another canceled an outing because he had to take his parents for a photo capture appointment.
And what was my reaction to all that? I understood them, and we simply rescheduled. I run errands for my own mum too, so I know how important family responsibilities can be. Their situations were urgent, and I didn’t take it personally.
In fact, I appreciate men who prioritize their families. It takes a well-raised, responsible person to do that, and I see it as a positive trait not an inconvenience.
Does that mean I judge anyone who might feel differently? Not at all. Everyone has their own preferences and boundaries. Mine just happen to include giving grace when family comes first.
