Today marks David Vetter’s birthday. David was affectionately known as the boy in the bubble after being born with Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID). We continue to honor David's memory by raising awareness of PI and advocating for SCID newborn screening. 💙
Did you know that #SCID Newborn Screening costs only $10 per child?
Help us advocate for routine SCID Newborn Screening Australia-wide.
Write WA, SA & TAS Health Ministers a letter calling them to announce a start date for SCID NBS in their states: https://t.co/fGI8y1dl3a
@emmye1984 I agree. It is disgraceful Australia no longer reports COVID statistics to the public and now manipulating the deaths figure so anyone with a preexisting condition who dies from COVID is not reported as a COVID death. This is why Australians don’t see Covid as dangerous.
"Australia should celebrate its scientists – but we also must be prepared to spend the money to develop the scientific tools of the future” thank you for speaking up for the sector @BevanShields. https://t.co/IeGS7QeK43
