Wrapped up today chairing a very productive Board of Directors meeting for the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana (EFKY) & now, I’m en route to Washington, D.C. ✈️ to serve on another mission & attend the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) annual board & accreditation committee retreat 🧠
2 boards, 1 cause! Different audience, same mission: better outcomes for those living with epilepsy 💜
The @efkentuckiana entered a costume contest in The Voice-Tribune. Please help us promote Epilepsy Awareness Month for free in the November issue. Please vote for the ballerina in purple and black. #unmaskingepilepsy

When I had the seizure in “Wrestlers”, I was very nervous about seeing it. But it has helped me able to talk about and try to help others
Thanks to WKYT for doing this story on my journey with epilepsy and helping folks learn more about the condition

Today is the day! It is #GivingTuesday! As we close out National Epilepsy Awareness Month, EF Kentuckiana has set a goal to raise $5000 today to help us continue to educate and advocate for the 174,000 people in Kentucky and southern Indiana living with epilepsy.
If you can at least be warm-hearted you’ll reap great benefits. You’ll have friends; your children will grow up to be kind people, which is the proper way to build a happier society and a happy life.
Thank you to the wonderful people that showed up last night to walk the Big Four Bridge under the purple lights to celebrate National Epilepsy Awareness Month! It was a chilly night, but the epilepsy community showed up to #ChangeOurEpilepsyStory. #NEAM2023#EFKentuckiana
