51% of the S&P 500's market cap is in stocks trading above 10x sales.
Half the index.
In 2002, after Sun Microsystems crashed 90%, CEO Scott McNealy famously said this about his own stock at 10x sales:
"At 10x revenues, to give you a 10-year payback, I have to pay you 100% of revenues for 10 straight years in dividends. Zero costs. Zero R&D. Zero taxes. Zero employees. What were you thinking?"
He was explaining why investors had been insane to pay it.
Today, half the S&P 500 trades there.
Different decade. Same math.
If you listen to the end, the call handler actually asks if Henry Nowak needs medical attention. The killers actually tell them Henry needs medical attention (albeit not admitting he has been stabbed), but they didn't send an ambulance. This just keeps getting worse the more that comes out.
@munboy@kamikazecash The key here is as soon as you sit down explain that you have somewhere / something you need to be at a specific time. A babysitter watching a child is what I go with, that does not allow you to stay longer then XX. That way you just get up to leave at the acknowledged time
@JohnLeFevre The real difference was that place you are describing was surrounded by other like minded Americans. People you had something in common with now that is no longer the truth.
I genuinely believe Donald Trump raped minors on Jeffrey Epstein's island and is blackmailed by Israel. I don't say that to be controversial, I don't say it to be shocking, I don't say it simply because I hate Trump. It is genuinely what all the available evidence and cover-ups suggest.
This fervor against Thomas Massie for wanting the Epstein files released is just the latest chapter in the book of evidence. The truth will eventually come out.

Boomers were the first generation to normalize this. This specific culture of abandoning your kids at 18 has been engrained into our society to make everyone easier to control financially. More demand for housing, less shared income. Splitting up the family, dismantling generational and familial wealth
Not saying your kid shouldn’t fly the coop at some point, they are free to leave when they are ready. But kicking them out right when they’re out of high school will never not be insane to me
I'm so unbelievably blackpilled. We're not getting our country back.
We can't even do recess appointments.
Our Secretary of State thinks this country is for "anyone anywhere."
Our President is considering amnesty, whatever his people say.
It's over. We failed as a civilization.
Ben Franklin said, "a republic, if you can keep it."
We didn't.
"America is a creedal nation!"
"Okay, can we test people to see if they believe in the creed before letting them in?"
"No, that's racist."
"Then can we kick them out if they don't believe in the creed?"
"No, that's denying them due process and their constitutional rights."
"Can I see a copy of this creed?"
"Nope, no one can agree on exactly what it is. We think it has something to do with the declaration of independence, though."
"Okay, so what you're saying is that this creed defines the nation, but it isn't defined, that it forms the basis of the law, but has no effect on the law, that we owe allegiance to it, but that allegiance cannot be tested or demanded?"
"Yep!"
"So the creed could be anything, couldn't it? It could be 'horsies are pretty', or 'eat at Joe's', and it wouldn't make the slightest difference?"
"I suppose so. I never really thought about it. What's important is that judges decide who is an American, and what America's future will be."
"Say, aren't you a judge?"
"Yes, what's your point?"
People keep asking why I’m endorsing certain candidates this runoff.
Simple answer: Every issue that actually matters is downstream of immigration.
Cost of living, quality of life, hospital waits, crowded schools, the environment, gun rights, even free speech — all of it gets crushed with mass third world immigration.
That’s why I’m backing any candidate who actually stands for real border control, not just talks about it.
May 26th matters.
@DerekHowell13@Pat_Stedman I don't understand this concept of destitute? If she is an able body person she can get a job. What your referring to is lifestyle - no she won't carry the same lifestyle, you know who else wont? Literally everyone else, including the children.
Civilization does not die because people cross borders.
It dies when a ruling class loses the will to defend borders, teach its own culture, demand assimilation, and put its own people first.
Mass migration at this scale is not compassion. It is what happens when elites stop believing their civilization is worth preserving.
You have to understand that this is genuinely what even quite ordinary, mainstream liberals believe. Like, I’m talking about just the regular old people in my Facebook feed. They genuinely believe that suburbanites have completely invented the idea that there is a crime problem just because they’re mean, scared, racists.
And, meanwhile, rich suburbanites and rural hicks cause all the problems.
They really believe this stuff. Like, it’s not an exaggeration or a metaphor. That’s what they think is happening. They think that failing urban schools are because racist suburbanites don’t give those schools enough money. That’s their literal understanding of the world. They think that crime and disorder are overrated, but to the extent that these are real problems, it’s because of how we built the interstate highways 70 years ago. That’s their literal belief. They think that gun crime today is because it was hard to get mortgages in some neighborhoods in the 1960s. Again, this is their literal understanding of cause and effect.
You can get mad at Mathew Yglesias or Noah Smith or whoever else online, but understand that the average normie liberal lives on another planet altogether.
We bring in $5 trillion. We spend $7 trillion. We borrow the difference. The Fed prints money to cover it.
That's inflation. And inflation is making you poorer.
