An important part of my trip to Banteay Meanchey was to meet the @ASEAN Observer Team, who are tasked to observe, verify and report on implementation of the ceasefire between Cambodia 🇰🇭 and Thailand 🇹🇭. I commend ASEAN’s efforts to support peace.

I joined the Foreign Ministry & diplomatic colleagues to visit Banteay Meanchey & communities affected by the border conflict, my 2nd visit this month. UK continues to call for a peaceful resolution so that people on both sides of the border can rebuild their lives & livelihoods.

#IWD 🇬🇧 supports women's health in 🇰🇭 through Prev3C project, implemented by Malaria Consortium targeting cervical cancer - the 2nd highest cancer affecting women. HPV testing reaches remote communities, while men engage in awareness activities. #AccelerateAction
