Based on a new analysis there is no major developer studio who isn't using AI. Be it Capcom, Square Enix or CDPR. Every major Engine or industry standard software like Photoshop or Autodesk Maya that has any form of GenAI features natively included. Unreal Engine 6 has GenAI as native feature implemented, Rocket League will be the first Game using UE6. If we have a look at east-Asian countries, they thinking way more positive towards AI. So it doesn't surprise me at all that so many korean or Japanese studios taking advantage of that technology.

You're heading into a difficult road. When you have a look everyone using AI. Be it for editing photos on your phone, searching for information on the internet, using Google, using a smart home assist, using a iPhone or Samsung, nowadays even dishwasher and washing machines coming packt with AI. If you're using a Mac or Windows PC you're using AI. By your statement YOU are a hypocrite because you're using it yourself.

Yeah, they can develop whatever they want. When people have to buy them they won't continue. But the thing is, when you have a look into the capabilities of GenAI, you need artists who are using it because AI is incapable of creating things it never seen before. GenAI lacking the creative imagination. Fully AI generated means that you have no artistic human input.

What an ill-considered and narrow minded statement. Unlike in the western world, in east-asia AI / GenAI is huge and broadly accept throughout society. Your only argument is that AI will lead to replace humans. Not understand that AI is incapable if creating new things from scratch. It can only replicate and recycle. Right now all over the gaming industry there is almost no studio that doesn't use GenAI. Game Engines and Software you use to create all the assets (Photoshop, zBrush, Maya, ...) coming with AI features. AI has it's downsides for sure. But your "opinion" sounds more like it's borrowed rather than your own.

Because of ONE music video? Where do you draw the connection towards the game? You've currently no big developer, specially not in east-asia, that's not using AI / GenAI. All games in the future will be developed with GenAI because of Unreal Engine 6. Rocket League will bet he first game to use this new UE version.

@MythraBlade Bad news for you. Almost every big developer using AI. Unreal Engine 6 comes with GenAI as a native/basic tool. Most software that are used in game development (Photoshop, Maya, zBrush, Substance Painter, ...) coming with AI tools.
