In May, CLDC secured the release of 15 children from prison in Somaliland.

14-year-old Hayaad traveled alone from Ethiopia to Somaliland seeking work. Instead, she was arrested and detained.

CLDC secured her release—but we didn't stop there. We arranged transport, food, and a safe journey home.

APRIL UPDATE: In April, CLDC provided legal defense to 59 new imprisoned children and secured the release of 46.

Visited Gabiley Court & Prison today. Met 5 detainees, including 4 co-defendants in a rape case now before the court, and a young woman appealing a conviction under 402 & 404 PC. CLDC will represent them to ensure fair trials. #AccessToJustice
