The default string delimiter for splitting in #Python isn't "space" but "any amount of consecutive whitespace"
>>> x = "line 1\nline\t2"
>>> x.split()
['line', '1', 'line', '2']
Is equivalent to this #regex:
>>> import re
>>> re.split(r"\s+", x)
['line', '1', 'line', '2']

Hey! Time for your regular reminder that the post-con mood dip is a thing. Especially after @pycon! Be ready for it. I've found that staying connected w/ folks can ease it a bit. Send a message to say hi to someone you met or thank a speaker for a talk you enjoyed! #PyCon2019
Thank you so much to every participant, coach, & sponsor that made this year’s event possible. It’s so great to see so many people coming together to support these ladies. 👩🏼🏫👨🏻🏫
They made huge steps outside of their comfort zones 👩🏾💻 and we are grateful to them for being so brave!
