Effective Jan 1, 2026, a modest rate adjustment will support safe, reliable natural gas service.
Variable rate: $2.27 → $2.87/GJ
Fixed rate: $29.50 → $29.95/month
Avg. impact: ~$4.20/month.

Each year, our team schedules routine meter replacements as part of regular maintenance. If a meter’s seal is expiring, it’s swapped out—either for recertification or for a new meter. It’s all part of keeping things safe, accurate, and running smoothly! 🔧✅

CLGC has contracted Gas Recon Inc (a gas leak detection company) to walk all of our gas lines in two areas of our franchise.
Beginning this week, they will be walking all the lines in our Tap 9 area. They will then head into our Tap 4 area.

The Government of Canada announced the removal the Federal Fuel Charge.
CLGC will not be required to report/pay the charge for all types of fuel, including marketable natural gas consumed after Mar-31-2025, until further notice.
This is effective for consumption after Apr-01-2025
