Sometimes I genuinely do not want to get married. Today my coworker was complaining that his wife wanted him to help fold their laundry while she was making breakfast for him. He said their 2-year-old daughter was sick last night, so both parents couldn’t get enough sleep. So he went into work early instead. I immediately asked him, “Just help fold the laundry???” He mocked her, mimicking her asking for him to help. I am certain I gave a WTF are you saying look. He even said he'd rather be at work early than be with his wife and a 2-year-old crybaby…. Just do better, men. Please. If you can’t act like a husband or father, don’t get married.

Something I’ve picked up on is men will knee jerk disagree or negate anything you say and they genuinely sometimes do not even know why and cannot disprove what you’re saying. They expect you to doubt yourself. When you double down and say “no, this is a fact” and say something that proves it, they go “really?”.

They disagree to literally just disagree. Negate what you say just for the sake of it. Watch them interact with their male friends and this doesn’t happen. It’s normal conversation. The male ego is so extremely fragile that a woman knowing something they don’t or have never heard they auto assume just is not true even if they have literally zero background knowledge
