BREAKING: Donald Trump is publicly humiliated over his latest grift as Gibson Guitars hits the owner of "Trump Guitars" with a brutal cease and desist letter over their knockoff copies of the "iconic Les Paul body shape."
And it gets even better...
"We can confirm a cease and desist has been issued against 16 Creative as the design infringes upon Gibson’s exclusive trademarks, particularly the iconic Les Paul body shape," Gibson wrote in a letter to Guitar World.
Trump has publicly endorsed the copycat guitars and urged his supporters to purchase them. While he himself doesn't own the company, it's possible that he is receiving commission on them.
An unsigned guitar sells for $1,500 with the hand-signed ones selling for as much as $12,000.
"The single-cut design of the electrics in both the American Eagle and Presidential series (each of which retail at $1,500 in non-signed) are clearly inspired by the Gibson Les Paul," wrote https://t.co/xujnWX56ms
Please retweet and ❤️ to urge Gibson to sue Trump outright — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. Knowing how to recognize your mistakes and knowing that others also have their problems and empathizing is precious ...
