Wonder if there are programs to reach out to a larger pool of applicants? Look for more talent in places usually overlooked? Provide education and insight on the field to underserved communities??
I find it distasteful, almost unethical, to say this when you have 18 million subscribers.
Hard to explain why, but with great reach comes great responsibility. Potentially killing someone elseโs nascent project reeks of carelessness.
First, do no harm.
@soren_iverson Nope. Destroys the one good thing about email... the asynchronicity of it, and the expectations of others not to receive an instantaneous reply. Part of that is the other part not knowing whether you have read the message or are yet working on a response.
@gmail Definitely disabling that feature. Email shouldn't give the recipient that much feedback into when the email is being responded to. Definitely a feature that should stay in messaging apps.
