#obstetricfistula is a medical condition in which a hole develops in the birth canal as a result of childbirth. This hole can be between the vagina and rectum, ureter, or bladder. It can result in #incontinence of urine or feces.

When this is not so, the damage from #earlymarriage for these #underage girls goes beyond the physical ravages of obstetric fistula. The emotional wounds take time and considerable resources to heal.
