Starlings, (6-4/320) is a redshirt SOPH who has three seasons of eligibility remaining. He redshirted at UNC as a freshman in 2023 while seeing action in three games this past year.

A native of Virginia, Starlings was a 4-Star prospect out of Benedictine Hs (Richmond, VA).. He was a member of the prestigious UA All American team, + ESPN 300, and Rivals 250.. A Top-200 overall ranked prospect, the #12 ranked defensive tackle and a Top 5 rated player in the state of VA in the Class of ''23.

A four-year varsity player during his prep career . He was named 3x All-State and posted 65 tackles, seven sacks, 18 TFL and a forced fumble as a Hs Senior.

A Top 10 Available Defensive Lineman in the Portal, Starlings had interest from Tennessee, Auburn, Mississippi State among many other schools.
